Ireland is a country rich in history and natural landscapes. It is an exciting place to explore and experience with your loved ones or friends.

My family and I adventured on road trip around Ireland for one week. There will be a series of blogs where I will highlight the places we visited each day.

Tullamore D.E.W Visitor Centre

Tullamore

Where: Bury Quay, Puttaghan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly

19th-century warehouse home of Tullamore DEW Whiskey, with tasting tours, plus a restaurant and bar. Tullamore Dew is a brand of blended Irish whiskey produced by William Grant & Sons. It is the second largest selling brand of Irish whiskey globally!

Stopped here for our first morning on our road trip. The staff received us very kindly and made us feel at home to make us part of the Tullamore family. We did the Curious Taster’s Journey Tour that cost me 14Euro. The tour was around an hour, where we learned about the history of the product, and how they made it. At the end we got to taste 3 different types! The tour here was excellent, the tour guides were very informative with their knowledge about the product. Would definitely recommend it if you tour the midlands of Ireland.
